About Medicare Insurance

Enrollment in Medicare is generally automatic if you're
receiving Social Security benefits when you turn 65. If
you're not receiving Social Security benefits, you can
enroll in Medicare online, by phone, or in person.
Medicare Part A is generally free if you or your spouse
have paid into the program through payroll taxes for at
least 10 years. Part B has a monthly premium, which
varies based on income. Medicare covers a wide range of
medical services, including hospital stays, doctor visits,
preventive care, and prescription drugs. However, it
doesn't cover everything, and there may be out-of-pocket
costs, such as deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments.
